In talking with many fabricators who are aware of TechNet the majority
response is TechNet is for assemblers or end users. Those who recall it's
origin comment with such things as "it was taken over", "its all fab bashing
now", and "why bother".

I was not suggesting "splitting" or "fracturing" TechNet, just thinking of a
method where fabricators can receive the type feedback that end users do.

Please, everyone, put the torches and pitchforks down...
