The most likely contamination will occur when the operator picks up the wrong soldering iron or solder. This is an unacceptable risk here. We made room (it was not easy) to keep the lead and lead free on separate benches. If you think your operators are better than this talk to some of the companies that do no-clean and cleaned fluxes. Ask them how often someone uses the wrong flux type if they are at the same bench.
