The flux type and solder would probably be specified in purchase documents
(if specifics are necessary). If no specific flux or solder are specified
then use your typical processes.

IPC A 610 specifies the conditions your assembled product must meet,
regardless of process method.

I am not sure if this is the right forum for this question.

We may have a requirement to assemble to class 3.

I have a copy of ipc-a-610 and my impression is that this is more of inspect
to class 3 kind of thing. Does class 3 assembly have requirements for
fluxes, solders etc etc

Any input will be greatly appreciated.
