Great points! It will be available for download... And I think creation of the Fab drawing goes hand in hand with reading and interpreting them... We can explore the topic from both angles... I have an old set of 'standard notes' used from the past... they are online on one of my website pages at pcbwizards.com There are probably other places too... I remember Tom Hausherr used to share his standard notes with anyone that would ask... I really want to try to go at this methodically and break it down into logical steps... What to define first, second and so on... Ideas? I don't know if this is covered in the CID classes, but I surely know that 90% of the fab drawings that I see are either meaningless, or have exagerated requirements. Not to mention that at least 25% of the PCBs that I check have no fab drawings! Any clues on where to find guidelines on writing tech notes for PCBs?
