Hi Robert, The standoffs are solder plated brass, 1/4 hex .75 and .688 inches long. Thanks for the reply, KennyB -----Original Message----- From: [log in to unmask] [mailto:[log in to unmask]] Sent: Thursday, June 16, 2005 11:01 AM To: Bloomquist, Ken Subject: measles standoffs Hi I think your problem is the standoffs are retaing the heat longer and exceeding the dlamination temp/time, are the standoffs brass or steel plated. I saw this on one other board. No real solution except to go to a higher Td material (not Tg) or put in the standoffs later or cool them right off the wave with air. robert Tarzwell director R&D sierra proto express. --------------------------------------------------- Technet Mail List provided as a service by IPC using LISTSERV 1.8e To unsubscribe, send a message to [log in to unmask] with following text in the BODY (NOT the subject field): SIGNOFF Technet To temporarily halt or (re-start) delivery of Technet send e-mail to [log in to unmask]: SET Technet NOMAIL or (MAIL) To receive ONE mailing per day of all the posts: send e-mail to [log in to unmask]: SET Technet Digest Search the archives of previous posts at: http://listserv.ipc.org/archives Please visit IPC web site http://www.ipc.org/contentpage.asp?Pageid=4.3.16 for additional information, or contact Keach Sasamori at [log in to unmask] or 847-615-7100 ext.2815 -----------------------------------------------------
