Your callout is fine, but you can't expect 2L pricing. Material costs for such a thick bd are going to be similar to a 6 layer bd. and lamination costs will be included. Thank you, Eddie Rocha South Bay Circuits Hi, This is a question to all the fab people. My project requires a PCB that will have a finished thickness of 4.7 mm. I haven't found anyone who has a standard thickness very close, but know that it's possible to build much thicker boards. What is the best way to call out such a construction? The other significant details are: - 2 layers, 1/2 oz. cu - No plated through holes - Gold flash finish, no soldermask - Material will be in two versions, one FR4 and one in a hi-freq.substrate - Boards will have an additional "cover" substrate layer laminated over the top, but this is not included in the 4.7 mm thickness I hope that was clear enough. Thank you very much for any light you can shed on this.
