Hi Technetters, Any suggestions for a good hard wearing finish that would extend the life of 3oz copper tracks being used as a sort of commutator. Am told that first prototypes were made with chemical (Electroless?) gold over nickel. Some lasted well, others not so well. Brushes are metal, sorry don't know the composition. Approx. 5 amps current passes through connections.
