Mine works the same way. I guess I'll just stack the tables in a neat and orderly fashion. There are approx. 1000 holes in the board and the majority of them are the same size, but they are 13 different drill tables created. One for each unique drill pair as well as for the thru holes. That will create a tool table on each drawing for that pair. Bob Harter, Jr. PCB Designer Paratek Microwave, Inc. 6935 G Oakland Mills Rd. I'm doing a board that will be using some blind and buried vias and am wondering how this is typically shown on drawings. Generally, I provide one drill file and a drawing that shows the drill locations along with a drill chart identifying the different hole sizes. My software creates the hole locations and the tables for use in the drawings. For blind and buried vias it outputs several drill files as expected, and creates several different hole tables that list the holes between different layers. For example; there is a thru hole table, one for layer 2 to layer 5, one for layer 2 to layer7.......). I guess this makes sense, but this is going to make for a lot of tables on one drawing. I just wanted to check with the experts and see if this is the "typical" method used or if there is another approach ? Scott D.
