Not quite sure what you mean by soldering on the component side. Is this as
in rework or repair?

What is IPC's criteria regarding soldering on the component side of the PCB?
At one time I remember seeing that it is unacceptable but have gone through
IPC610 Rev D and can't find any mention. Any input on acceptability or
reference to IPC 610 location would be greatly appreciated.
