Pardon me, criticism of IPC ahead. Stop reading now if you don't want to hear it. What I don't understand about IPC webcasts is why they are producing them in such a low-tech way. It is a webcast, so you would expect it to use the web...but it doesn't. You have to download the slides ahead of time and flip them yourself during the presentation, AND you have to call in separately from the web link to hear the audio. You don't even need to be logged into the site during the cast. Why can't they set it up to provide the audio on the website and automatically advance the slides? I've sat thru many webcasts that do this. And almost all of those were free, to boot. Instead, you have to pay for an hour-long long distance call (if you aren't in the US and have access to the toll-free number), on top of the seminar fee. I hope the presenter is better on this one than the last one. Basically, once I downloaded the slides I could have not even bothered to listen to the presentation on WEEE. He didn't do much more than read the slides. There are lots of webcast hosting sites out there. For the price being charged, they should be able to afford using one. -----Original Message----- From: Alexandra Curtis [mailto:[log in to unmask]] Sent: 16-Mar-05 10:18 AM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: [TN] Webcast on the Newly IPC-7351 Get the Latest Updates An Overview of the Newly Released IPC-7351 Wednesday, March 23, 2005 10:00 am - 11:00 am (CT) 11:00 am - 12:00 pm (Eastern) The webcast will begin at 10:00 am (Central Time) and concludes at 11:00 am.
