Does anyone know if the workshop and Exams are free to displaced workers? i.e. 'outta-job' design folks? Like the Cadence and/or Mentor tools training is. I'm still outta work since being 'displaced' (outsourced) from Intel, San Diego. Please let me know. I could make to Orange County for the April session. Thanks. Mitch Morey Sr PCB Designer Cadence tool specialist, San Diego. > > Christi, > > I don't know how many folks you've actually had sign up for this CID > workshop, but I'm pretty sure that I'm not going to get any more of my > chapter folks to commit at this late in the game.... > > Perhaps we should talk today, eh? > > Scott McCurdy > > -----Original Message----- > From: DesignerCouncil [mailto:[log in to unmask]] On Behalf Of > Christi > Poulsen > Sent: Monday, March 07, 2005 9:33 AM > To: [log in to unmask] > Subject: [DC] CID Certification Workshops - Orange County, CA - April 4-6, > 2005 > > > Dear Colleagues, > > > > If you missed out in Anaheim, we have a Designer Certification workshop > and > exam scheduled for early April in the Orange County, CA area for those > interested in getting CID certification. > > > > Register Today to get your materials in time to study! > > > > CID Workshop/Exam April 4-6, 2005 > > > > Time: 8:30am to 5:00 pm > > Orange County, CA > > > > Register today to receive your materials in time to study at: > https://secure.ipc.org/IPC/2004descertonlinereg.asp > <https://secure.ipc.org/IPC/2004descertonlinereg.asp> > > > > IPC Designer Certification is a powerful tool in promoting your role to > everyone involved in the production of printed circuit boards and > assemblies. > > > > This program assesses a designer's knowledge of how to transform a > schematic > into a reliable rigid PCB design, which can be easily manufactured, > assembled and tested.
