The trick is not to have all your CC..'s attached when posting to the list server... if you do have 'copy to:' e-mail address other than just the list server it thinks you are publishing spam... At least that's what I think it is doing... LOL Have a great weekend. Bill Brooks - KG6VVP PCB Design Engineer , C.I.D.+, C.I.I. I have tried three time to post our January Meeting (Clive Maxfield, author of "Beebop to the Boolean Boogie" is speaking), and keep getting the message rejected with no explanation. SIlicon Valley Chapter - IPC Designers Council Tuesday, January 11, 2005 11:30AM - 1:30PM Cadence Design Systems 2655 Seely Avenue - Building 5 San Jose, CA 95134 Design Validation: How do you know that your PCB design will work? Jim Hixson - VP of Product Development at ADIVA Corporation There are many ways that a seemingly good design can actually be in bad shape and no one knows until the board is assembled and powered up for the first time. How can this happen? You checked everything. Your CAD tool says all is well. Design review went well. Was it your fault? Was it your engineer? Your schedule is shot! Lets take a look at what can be happening behind the curtain and cause a great design to go bad without even knowing until its too late. We'll see some examples of a good design gone bad. Presenter Bio: Jim Hixson has been working in the PCB Design industry for over 24 years. From hand-taping, early CAD, modern CAD and now software development, Jim has seen almost everything when it comes to PCB designs and PCB designs that have problems. He is currently employed by ADIVA Corporation as their Vice President of Product Development dealing specifically with Design Validation Software. RSVP REQUIRED!
