Hi Joyce! We have several Ok Systems Hot Air Pencils and they work fine. Metcal has since bought out Ok Systems, but they still sell the same Hot Air Pencil under the Metcal name. Go to: _http://www.metcal.com/products/hotair_pencil.htm_ (http://www.metcal.com/products/hotair_pencil.htm) and check it out... -Steve Gregory- guys, any one used hot air pen for parts rework? any brand you can recommend? I saw "welding pen" on-line with Temp 20-600 C. It is a bit scary (melt everything possibly). I only need small outlet of 3-5 mm diameter (small the better) for fine pitch, but control at <200 - 250 C (don't want to be smelly)...Hopefully, it come with temp control. Thanks. jk --------------------------------------------------- Technet Mail List provided as a service by IPC using LISTSERV 1.8e To unsubscribe, send a message to [log in to unmask] with following text in the BODY (NOT the subject field): SIGNOFF Technet To temporarily halt or (re-start) delivery of Technet send e-mail to [log in to unmask]: SET Technet NOMAIL or (MAIL) To receive ONE mailing per day of all the posts: send e-mail to [log in to unmask]: SET Technet Digest Search the archives of previous posts at: http://listserv.ipc.org/archives Please visit IPC web site http://www.ipc.org/contentpage.asp?Pageid=4.3.16 for additional information, or contact Keach Sasamori at [log in to unmask] or 847-615-7100 ext.2815 -----------------------------------------------------
