Hence the saying "that will only happen when pigs fly". Dewey -----Original Message----- From: TechNet [mailto:[log in to unmask]]On Behalf Of Blair K. During our investigation we found a piece of ham from a sandwich inside the unit, causing the failure. About that time we implemented a policy of no eating or drinking at your workstation. No more questions. -----Original Message----- From: Steve Gregory [mailto:[log in to unmask]] Sent: Wednesday, December 01, 2004 5:13 PM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: Re: [TN] FOD Prevention training Yeah Jason...'member the Chiefs barking at us during FOD walkdown; "Hands out of your pockets! Eyes down on the deck!!!" I thought that the Navy was the last time I would hear that. But, we just got asked about our FOD control procedures during a recent audit by Bell Helicopter/Textron. We addressed it here by showing them our emphasis to 5-S, and our standing "Take the last 30-minutes of your shift to clean your area." That seemed to satisfy them...but they did say it would be nice if we had a "formal" procedure... -Steve Gregory- Man, I haven't heard that term since my USN days.
