Sorry for the late response, but this is interesting. I was almost CERTAIN that the IPC was pushing the use of "Panel" for the bare board fab, and "Pallet" for the assembly arrays. Now I look in IPC-T-50F (Terms and Definitions) and the word pallet isn't even IN there. Could I have been imagining that all this time? Funny now that I think about it... but can't the IPC donate Terms and Definitions to the WORLD? How can someone COPYRIGHT definitions?
