0603s and gull wing leaded packages with pads at 12 x 63 does not tell us enough information to answer your question. Assuming the pitch for the PQFP is 20 mil, you can use either a 5 or 6 mil thick stencil, but it is truly predicated on what your cad library shapes are designed for. We design all of our component library shapes based on a 5 mil thick stencil today, but pitches less than 20 may cause us to have to change that design guideline in the future. Question? >What thickness stencil do you recommend on a 6"x8" >board with mostly 0603's and a couple of PQFP128's. >The pads on the PQFP are 12 x 63. > >TIA > >Tony Steinke > >--------------------------------------------------- >Technet Mail List provided as a service by IPC using LISTSERV 1.8e >To unsubscribe, send a message to [log in to unmask] with following text in >the BODY (NOT the subject field): SIGNOFF Technet >To temporarily halt or (re-start) delivery of Technet send e-mail to >[log in to unmask]: SET Technet NOMAIL or (MAIL) >To receive ONE mailing per day of all the posts: send e-mail to >[log in to unmask]: SET Technet Digest >Search the archives of previous posts at: http://listserv.ipc.org/archives >Please visit IPC web site http://www.ipc.org/contentpage.asp?Pageid=4.3.16 >for additional information, or contact Keach Sasamori at [log in to unmask] or >847-509-9700 ext.5315 >----------------------------------------------------- >AIT-Atlanta Inc. --------------------------------------------------- Technet Mail List provided as a service by IPC using LISTSERV 1.8e To unsubscribe, send a message to [log in to unmask] with following text in the BODY (NOT the subject field): SIGNOFF Technet To temporarily halt or (re-start) delivery of Technet send e-mail to [log in to unmask]: SET Technet NOMAIL or (MAIL) To receive ONE mailing per day of all the posts: send e-mail to [log in to unmask]: SET Technet Digest Search the archives of previous posts at: http://listserv.ipc.org/archives Please visit IPC web site http://www.ipc.org/contentpage.asp?Pageid=4.3.16 for additional information, or contact Keach Sasamori at [log in to unmask] or 847-509-9700 ext.5315 -----------------------------------------------------
