One request from someone who has to interpret drawings to make certain the buyer is getting what they ordered. Please state the outer final copper conductor thickness requirement in either inches or mm, minimum or maximum depending on what you need. If you want to use an ounce weight for the outer layers clearly state that it is the starting weight foil. IPC has actual measurable values for the various weights of foil when plated up in the final product. If you state an ounce weight as the FINAL THICKNESS it causes a ton of problems. Inner layers may be stated as a starting ounce weight because the IPC has actual measurable minimums for the various foil weights in ounces after processing. If you want to use an ounce weight for the outer layers clearly state that it is the starting weight foil. IPC has actual measurable values for the various weights of foil when plated up in the final product. Thanks for taking this into consideration.
