Kevin, What you're saying doesn't make sense. If you've invested that much into a security system with photo ID badges, the extra $1.20 for an ESD sleeve should be little more than background noise for expense of having a photo ID system in the first place. Everyone, I have a silly problem and could use some help coming up with a solution. We currently have identification badges that our employees use to get into the facility (also has their photo for identification). We have found that they generate a significant amount of ESD. We have been looking for a way to protect against this (not sure if we need to or not). The only solution we have come up with is an ESD safe plastic sleeve to put the ID in. This solution is pretty costly ($1.20 each) as well not very attractive (can hardly see the photo through the sleeve). Anyone got any great ideas on how to solve this?
