Dave, I agree with George. I had a manager once tell me to never say no to a customer. I have learned over the years to say yes to a customer in such a way that he knows the answer is no. However, in all my years working in the telecommunications industry I've learned three thinks about customers: 1. Listen to your customer. While your listening to them try to educate them. 2. Listen to your customer. When they don't hear what you are saying, talk a little louder. 3. Listen to your customer. And if they refuse to listen even when they are wrong, do what they ask or they won't be your customer anymore. Regards, George George M. I took over 2 years in my investigation and qualification of IAg and never once was able to document any migration. Silver plate options can have grounds for concern, but not Immersion. Unfortunately everyone knows someone who had a problem with Silver (but no one has ever told me they personally have seen IAg migrate). Talk to your PCB Supplier to get data from the correct IAg Supplier and use that to teach your customer that the "old wives tale" is just that and has no grounds for belief. Isn't this old news? I thought the benzomidazole and other organic inhibitors prevented Silver migration.
