Franklin, A gray eraser is quite a bit more abrasive than your standard 'pinkie', in an rotary electric eraser it can do a fair amount of work quickly. As far as a Dremel, they make bronze and steel wire wheels that can also do the job well. As previously mentioned, an stainless steel aperture mask can really help and a light touch is a must....
