Joe:
        It does not do anything to the boards nor components. Immersion
cleaning is used by mostly low volume outfits.
        In previous life we had an inline alcohol cleaner. It worked really
well. I have read many posts that say otherwise about alcohol but you can
not argue with facts.  What I saw was boards that came out clean and there
was no maintenance on the machine. We used it on boards that just came out
of the Wave Solder.
