Hi Bev - Yes, I have seen an overly oxidized solderspheres on a BGA. But I have observed this phenomena only once (and I have been lots of BGAs in production!). To be clear, I am excluding organic contamination, insufficient reflow temperature conditions, poor paste, poor boards, misregistration, etc. - just considering oxidation. Thanks.
