There are two full committee meetings scheduled; Sun/Mon Feb 22-23 at APEX in Anaheim, and the first week of May in Austin TX. Pretty much the norm to run two days J001D, two days 610D and two days 620A because there is a great deal of cross-over participation in all of them.

The goal is to be Final Draft for Industry Review after February, review comments in May and prepare for ballot in the summer. Hoping that one ballot is all that will be required.

Two important websites to bookmark for IPC Standards Development info.

The Status of Standardization is updated monthly and shows all current projects, leaders names, and the number of the committee/task group developing the document. http://www.ipc.org/contentpage.asp?PageID=4.1.0.3

In the very near future you'll be able to click a link on the Status of Standardization page and go directly to a download link for drafts, minutes and comments related to a document. Until that time, note the committee number from the Status of Standardization and go into the Committee Home Pages http://www.ipc.org/Committeepage.asp.  Click the "+" just to the left of the appropriate General Committee and it will expand to show all subcommittees and task groups. Click on the task group and you'll see leader info, charter for the committee, and links to download the current drafts and history files on comments and meeting minutes.

I don't have the current 610D draft posted just now because I'm making quite a few changes as a result of the IPC Annual Meeting about a month ago. Check in a week or so and you'll be able to download a .pdf of the draft. Not for slow modems--it's over 11 MB.

Jack,

When will rev D be ready as a draft for potential review?  Can you tell me who would be the best contact for a draft version?

Kathy
