I'm maxed out on vacation and have to leave work at 40 hr. -----Original Message----- From: Barmuta, Mike [mailto:[log in to unmask]] Sent: Friday, September 05, 2003 3:43 PM To: 'TechNet E-Mail Forum.'; Charles Caswell Cc: Barmuta, Mike Subject: RE: [TN] Ionograph Charles: I know it's Friday and everything but.... Are you sure YOU don't mean 1.56 micro grams/sq.cm. :>) Angela: I'm not sure what specification you are basing your pass/fail ionic contamination limits on and what calculation you are using but your are off by a factor of greater than 10X than most established industry limits. Evidently this forum is very much respected because I didn't get any arguments from anyone here. Here's another one. At our company we are currently using Ionograph 500m version 3.02 to test our assembled boards after wash. Our pass/fail limit is 20 micro grams of sodium per square centimeters. I'm not sure our calculation is correct, and I was wondering what other companies pass/fail limits are for comparisons. I called about three places in my area and got three different answers. If this helps most of our boards are double sided. I would appreciate any feed-back. Thanks in advance. --------------------------------------------------- Technet Mail List provided as a service by IPC using LISTSERV 1.8e To unsubscribe, send a message to [log in to unmask] with following text in the BODY (NOT the subject field): SIGNOFF Technet To temporarily halt or (re-start) delivery of Technet send e-mail to [log in to unmask]: SET Technet NOMAIL or (MAIL) To receive ONE mailing per day of all the posts: send e-mail to [log in to unmask]: SET Technet Digest Search the archives of previous posts at: http://listserv.ipc.org/archives Please visit IPC web site http://www.ipc.org/contentpage.asp?Pageid=4.3.16 for additional information, or contact Keach Sasamori at [log in to unmask] or 847-509-9700 ext.5315 ----------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------- Technet Mail List provided as a service by IPC using LISTSERV 1.8e To unsubscribe, send a message to [log in to unmask] with following text in the BODY (NOT the subject field): SIGNOFF Technet To temporarily halt or (re-start) delivery of Technet send e-mail to [log in to unmask]: SET Technet NOMAIL or (MAIL) To receive ONE mailing per day of all the posts: send e-mail to [log in to unmask]: SET Technet Digest Search the archives of previous posts at: http://listserv.ipc.org/archives Please visit IPC web site http://www.ipc.org/contentpage.asp?Pageid=4.3.16 for additional information, or contact Keach Sasamori at [log in to unmask] or 847-509-9700 ext.5315 ----------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------- Technet Mail List provided as a service by IPC using LISTSERV 1.8e To unsubscribe, send a message to [log in to unmask] with following text in the BODY (NOT the subject field): SIGNOFF Technet To temporarily halt or (re-start) delivery of Technet send e-mail to [log in to unmask]: SET Technet NOMAIL or (MAIL) To receive ONE mailing per day of all the posts: send e-mail to [log in to unmask]: SET Technet Digest Search the archives of previous posts at: http://listserv.ipc.org/archives Please visit IPC web site http://www.ipc.org/contentpage.asp?Pageid=4.3.16 for additional information, or contact Keach Sasamori at [log in to unmask] or 847-509-9700 ext.5315 -----------------------------------------------------
