Hi Brian,

I must agree that current laptop PCs are extreme overkill for most commonly used applications. A current generation hand held computer with an external keyboard would likely do. Your product idea is a good one as well. The Volkswagen Beetle and the basic Fiat did really well for many years in getting people where they wanted to go.

I also appreciate your continued concern relative to use on aircraft. Most international flights offer power at the seat in business class these days, which obviates the problem for the more expensive seats.

I will assume (rightfully or not) that some sort of "fail safe" circuity/mechanism is planned. Still, there is little doubt in my mind that, while there will be bumps in the road ahead, if the destination is deemed worth the risk of the ride, someone will no doubt make the journey (as they evidently are) and if they arrive safely, others will surely and quickly follow.

What is truly fascinating is the pace of development over the last few years. More to come on this subject I am sure...

Very best!
Joe
