There isn't an IPC spec yet.

If your fabricator is reputable (and if they weren't, you wouldn't be using them) they should be able to provide you with a spec that works.  One thing to note is that all immersion silver chemistries don't give the same thickness.  For instance MacDermid Sterling Silver will give a thickness between 5 microinches and 25 microinches, but Enthone Alpha Level will result in 3 to 8 microinches.

Hi Everyone,
 
Due to some fine pitch components and a couple of BGA' s on my boards, I am looking into changing the finish from HASL to Immersion Silver. The fabricator has asked what thickness of Silver I would like. Is there an IPC spec that governs this?
