Dear Sir, We bought one copy of IPC-A-610C, January 2,000 supersedes rev:B, Dec .1994. I have got one simple question, but need your clarification to see if my understanding is correct? In section 6.5.2 Exposed basis metal, Figure 6-41 shows a not 100% wetted pad on PCB land area, it only about 50% in my point of view. Does this mean that the exposed base metal in unsoldered areas should be considered normal as shown in the photo of Figure 6-41, just because it is OPS coated PWB. If so, would you also tell me why? I would appreciate it if you could answer me ASAP. --------------------------------------------------- Technet Mail List provided as a free service by IPC using LISTSERV 1.8e To unsubscribe, send a message to [log in to unmask] with following text in the BODY (NOT the subject field): SIGNOFF Technet To temporarily halt or (re-start) delivery of Technet send e-mail to [log in to unmask]: SET Technet NOMAIL or (MAIL) To receive ONE mailing per day of all the posts: send e-mail to [log in to unmask]: SET Technet Digest Search the archives of previous posts at: http://listserv.ipc.org/archives Please visit IPC web site http://www.ipc.org/html/forum.htm for additional information, or contact Keach Sasamori at [log in to unmask] or 847-509-9700 ext.5315 -----------------------------------------------------
