Most of the boards I see use LPI. Mainly, I think because of the accuracy with which it can be applied. Is Hysol SR1000 a Silkscreen only material?

Hi Bill!
SR1000 is just a real tough mask. It's got a matte finish so silkscreen and conformal coating adhere well...
I've got the datasheet here on my 'pooter, I'll send it to you off-line.
-Steve Gregory-Can anyone tell me what PCB design parameters would drive the use of Hysol SR1000 or SR1001 for use as solder mask on a PCB? Why would it be specified for a specific design over other solder masks? Is there some special reason for specifying it? Does it have some special property that would make it preferable to LPI? I can't seem to locate a data sheet on it to evaluate its properties.
