This is probably a virus. I recently received warning of a worm called Bug Bear 32 something that mass-mails from your address book, selecting from your directories a random file name to give the worm a new alias. It attaches an EXE or SCR extension to the selected file name (There's a 3rd extension it uses as well, but I can't recall what it is). As usual, adopt the usual precaution - if you're suspicious about a mail with an attachment, delete it without opening it. I have received 2 suspicious mails like this so far.
