Check out J-STD033A.  Its downloadable from the JEDEC web Site
http://www.jedec.org/ .  The newer version does have a 48hr default  but
that can be worked around depending on package thickness.  It also has
added a 90'C bake temp.  This is very useful when purchasing buys moisture
sensitive parts in reels instead of high temp matrix trays.

Also check out http://www.cogiscan.com/ .  The trick is to have the
packaging resealed as quickly as possible, keeping track of how long a
package has been opened for and EDUCATING production.
This can be a very frustrating area to keep a firm grip on.
