You're right, You're Right, YOU'RE RIGHT!! I hate things like this because
you spend ten times what it would take to just fix it but it's definitely a
"what's right" thing for future reference.

My spin on it, which comes from a class 3 environment, is that if it's on
the parts list and there is nothing against it then it's OK. Can you have
your NVA quality person quote spec and paragraph why it can't be there? I
don't think so.

Is it going to fall off? Is it going to reduce conductor spacing? It it
going to cause a hazard? Is it going....
