If it is electrolytic nickel and flash gold we do not expect any tarnish in stored condition for at least 2 yrs.

Subject: Gold Tarnish.

Greetings Mighty Techneters.

Under normal environmental conditions, (As in no special effort is being made to create and maintian a particular controlled environment) how long will it take for Gold (gold fingers) to tarnish or show evidence of oxidation?

I am not considering any extremes in temperature and or humidiy.  Just on a shelf at an assembly house.

I know how to clean them up, but someone asked me and I didn't have any range of responses to offer.

Thank you,

Steve M.
