Removal of Soldermask from assembled PCBAsFrank,

One possible solution is microblasting the mask off, other than that, no
good recommendation.  Using this technique though may cause some ESD issues
as well as other part damage on that side of the assembly.

  I need to remove the soldermask from the backside of some assembled PCBAs.
  Any suggestions (Rudy, Doug, Steve, Werner, anybody)?
  All mask from backside only (no components or solder joints).
  Please feel free to call or reply offline if you do not wish to discuss on
this forum.
  I need an answer quickly if possible.
