Techneters, Thanks for all the help on my previous post for a gold solderability problem which included the inability to recognize fiducials. The follow-up is that the original boards(no assembly issues)were ENIG, not electolytic plated Ni/Au. The customer has also stated that their camera is not adjustable to compensate for the plated fiducials, they will continue to utilize the rubber eraser. They will also adjust the profiles for the differently plated products. On a non-technical note, I'm sorry to say that "technet" now occupies a distant second place in my heart compared to the beautiful joy my wife delivered to the world on Jan. 3rd, our 1st child, Evangelina Rose. I look into her eyes and realize that perhaps circuit boards don't make the world go around after all.... Thanks again to those willing to share knowledge and successes with the technet community. _________________________________________________________________ MSN 8: advanced junk mail protection and 2 months FREE*. http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail --------------------------------------------------- Technet Mail List provided as a free service by IPC using LISTSERV 1.8e To unsubscribe, send a message to [log in to unmask] with following text in the BODY (NOT the subject field): SIGNOFF Technet To temporarily halt or (re-start) delivery of Technet send e-mail to [log in to unmask]: SET Technet NOMAIL or (MAIL) To receive ONE mailing per day of all the posts: send e-mail to [log in to unmask]: SET Technet Digest Search the archives of previous posts at: http://listserv.ipc.org/archives Please visit IPC web site http://www.ipc.org/html/forum.htm for additional information, or contact Keach Sasamori at [log in to unmask] or 847-509-9700 ext.5315 -----------------------------------------------------
