Steve, I haven't read all the threads on this subject but I just had a thought about solder paste life. They have a new product for people that do woodworking to help extend the life of varnish and paint. It's called "Nitrogen"! It comes in an aerosol can with a plastic tube like WD40. You spray a little of it into the can as you put the lid on. Why couldn't you do the same thing with your shop nitrogen as you close your jar. Since we don't use solder past, what do I know, but it's just a thought.
