You may recall the initial NASA HDBK 5300 required all inspectors and operators to have vision tested including color blindness tests. IPC does not require this that I am aware of. Corrected vision is really a good thing both from a company and personnel stand point. As a part of the Training and Certification you could as a company policy require eye exams. After all, you have to take an eye exam for a drivers license, std of commercial.
