I have a Sprint Touch Point. The problem I am now having
is with the battery. After you drop it a couple times the battery has a
tendency to not sit tight against the phone body and the phone cut out on
you if
the battery is not held tight against the body.
Phone itself works ok. Internet access, voice mail,
phone book 100 entries, games. I do not use a lot of the gadgetry.
Basic phone is ok by me.
My daughter has a phone, which is voice activated.
She likes it. I think it is a Voice Stream but not sure.

Subject: Re: [TN] (OT) Cell
phones...
Steve,
I noticed something about the replies to your
post; you got almost no actual hardware advice. I think what you were looking
for was a recommendation for a manufacturer of phone. It appears that in the
cell phone industry the *service* and *feature set* are more
important than the hardware. I agree with this having purchased and used
phones from most major manufacturers, and used several services.
There is probably a lesson here for all of us in
the electronics industry.
