Steve,
Do
some serious research. We have an expensive paper weight(new). With that, flying
probes test about only 70% of the assembly. Although there are NRE charges I
would have preferred to have gone to fixture testing.
Rick
Hi All!
Our company is looking at Flying Probe testers, and I told our test
engineer I would post to the list and ask ya'll if anyone has experience and
an opinion (good or bad), of some of the makes out there...
Our test
engineer went and looked at two of them this past week (Takaya and Spea), and
between the two, he's leaning toward the Spea. He said the reason he was
leaning towards the Spea, is that you have to give the Takaya a known good
board first, and to him (and me), that kinda defeats the whole concept about
flying probe testers.
Any feedback anyone can share will be most
kindly appreciated
