Not too familiar with Multicore naming convention these days, but RA (instead RMA or R)  in the name suggests you have an Activated Rosin instead of a RMA or Madly activated Rosin. If this is the case you will need to clean.

Multicore has been formulating fluxes for HMP solders for along time and I understand this one is of the better ones.  The solder paste is great for use where a solder such as HMP is needed.  If you are going to use it for applications other than through hole soldering and you operating temperature is 150oC or greater, I suggest you look at the long term aging problems with high-lead solders.  These high-lead solders tend to coarsen badly during aging and develop large grains with weak grain boundaries which fracture easily if placed in tension, shear is much better.  Don't use for surface mount if the operating temperatures approach even 125oC for a long periods.  ( I have seen recently some microsections that were supposedly subjected to only 125oC for about a week that showed large grains and cracking).    I would suggest you take your soldered samples and subject them to operating temperature for about a 1000 hours and then test th! em mechanically.
