Shipley Bulge TesterHi Chuck,
as you seem to be a Siemens company, I assume that you are not performing plating operations yourselves, and so I would query your need to do bulge testing. The test requires that a sample is prepared by plating a specific thickness (normally greater than the normal thickness of plating) onto a backing sheet, peeled off and then tested. If you are not doing the plating process yourself, you will have problems making the sample, no?
Atotech also supply a bulge tester (or you could use them as a service ?)

  Subject: [TN] Shipley Bulge Tester

  Hi,

Does anyone know anything about the Shipley SE 800 Mechanical Bulge Tester?
I need to find one to test, rent or whatever. The Shipley web site was not very helpful.
We have a procedure that calls for this equipment.

  Thanks in advance
