The IPC Plating Committee is presently working on a specification for Immersion Tin as a solderable surface finish.
Immersion tin is normally deposited at 30 to 60 micrinches.
It is supplied by a series of chemical suppliers. The following suppliers are active and supplying samples to the committee:
Florida cirtich, Atotech, MacDermid, Fidelity, Cookson and Uyemura.
