Hello All
I am currently up-dating a section of Premier's PCB Design Excellence Course, which we run here in the UK and Ireland called "Standards for PCB Design and Manufacture" .
Can you help me get a picture of the current use of standards across the world?
E.g. Are IPC standards the only ones used in the US? What about Canada and South America?
Are BS standards only used in the UK? What does the rest of Europe use, apart from IPC and (in Germany DIN/VDE)?
What standards are used in the far east? Do the Japanese only use their own standards?
How many boards are designed/manufactured without using a recognised standard?

Thanks and best regards
Alan Johnson CID+
