Hmm, sounds to me that there is either a batch related problem or worse yet, a supplier related problem. Both Nortel and now RIM have used ENIG extensively in products. Both Nortel and RIM reliability testing has used humidity as a variable without problem.

reason why i was asking about the elni/au - customer had recommended to their OEM customer - but was informed that the immersion gold did not stand up to humidity testing - is there something that went wrong?
