Thanks for your response, Mentor Graphics seems to prefer Matrox as well.  I just wanted to get an impartial opinion.

We have standardized on the Matrox G45 or G55 dual head card with 32 Meg RAM. We love it. There are no artifacts or problems whatsoever. And if you are not using dual monitors now (get a second 19" monitor for under $200) it will take you 1 millisecond after you see it in action to wonder how you ever got along without one. (Works just fine with Win2K and WinXP)

I have a lowly Nvidia TNT2 32MB AGP video card and I am getting "ghosting" and fading in and out of various graphic elements on my screen.  This happens typically when zooming in and out.  It seems to mainly affect text.  Does anyone else have similar experiences and, if not, what card do you use?
