Dear Mr. Falconer, You can still get product approval as per US MIL-PRF-55110F (inactive for new designs) for rigid PCBs. You have to apply to Defense Supply Center, Columbus, OHIO and submit samples to an approved test house in USA for Qualification testing FOR THE TYPE OF MATERIAL you wish to get approval. In to-days' context getting qualified as per MIL-PRF-31032 is preferred which is a QML approach rather than the earlier QPL approach. However, the costs will be very high, as the Qualification team of DSSC have to visit the facility for a process audit based on the Company's Technical Review Board (TRB) DOCUMENTARY evidences.
