It's encouraging from your remarks, that there is a way to deal with the
problems that occur with vias in pads. As you can see from the pictures on my
web page, I did experience insufficient solder joint issues...as many others
have. You may have the answer, but chose not to share.

But what is somewhat troublesome to me, is that you post a message that you
say you are amused at all the communication about the issue...and my take on
that statement is essentially saying that many of us on the list are a bunch
of bumbling idiots. Maybe so, but the reason many of us are subscribed is to
learn, not to be berated....

I'm happy that you have a solution, but unhappy that you chose to express to
the list that you are amused at those of us that may not have the insight
that you do in dealing with this problem...you just demonstrated  poor style
if you ask me. Best thing would have not to said anything at all in my
opinion.

I'll figure it out somehow, if you've come up with a solution, then I
can...may just take me a little longer.
