How likely is the fact that an assembled AD844 opamp gets defect by ESD?

We are certain that these components were produced in an esd safe process, so I presume there is an esd problem with our customer.

We produced about 50 boards with on each board 4 AD844’s. 15 boards have damaged AD844’s on different places on the board.
