(NYSE:TXN) of pending litigation between the companies relating to CSP technology. The settlement will result in the dismissal of patent infringement claims and related issues in U.S. District Courts in Oakland, CA and Marshall, TX. Under the terms of the settlement, the parties will release each other from all pending claims and counterclaims. TI will make a one-time payment to Tessera. The settlement includes a royalty-bearing license that covers TI's MicroStar? family of FBGA packages. The MicroStar package is primarily used to package TI's flagship DSP technology used in OEM products, such as mobile phones, MP3 players and personal digital assistants.
