Is there any reason IPC does not offer 4101 to designers at a discount? I just called and they said I would have to pay the non-member price. This is the note I added to the board in the drawings. 2. ALL MATERIAL SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH IPC-2221, PLASTIC SHEET TYPE BASE MATERIAL, GLASS BASED PREIMPREGNATED WOVEN E-GLASS WITH A Tg RATING OF 150 DEG. C BASE MATERIAL SHALL MEET UL 94V-0 I was told that I should have used IPC 4101, I am still new to the IPC standards and I thought that 2221 called for the board standards of both fabrication and assembly. Was I too general, is IPC 4101 more specific in regards to the substraight material, or did I forget to add something to my notes. Thank you, Ted Tontis C.I.D. Engage Networks 316 N.
