Angelo, You might want to differentiate between topside components or bottomside shielded components versus unshielded bottomside components that will see wavesolder wave. If the 0805 components are not going to see the wave, you can get away with .01" clearance. For those parts that will see the wavesolder wave, you would want to have .02" clearance.
